October 23, 2002 - Mutual Aid Response
for an Overdue Male Adult, Calistoga Area

SUBJECT:
26-year-old white male adult; subject's car was located
apparently abandoned next to a small, remote reservoir near
the town of Calistoga.
|
SCENARIO:
Car was located by a local surveyor; car's plates were
run when it needed to be towed to find out the subject's
last known location was not know. The car's location was
used as an initial planning point (note: one of the rare
IPP scenarios, not a PLS). Sonoma was called out for a
mutual aid search to assist Napa
County.

STATUS:
Mutual aid consisted of up to 60 SAR staff members from
(at least) the following organizations:
- NAPA COUNTY SAR, NAPA COUNTY DIVE TEAM
- MARIN COUNTY SAR
- LAKE COUNTY SAR, LAKE COUNTY K-CORPS
- CALIFORNIA RESCUE DOG ASSOCIATION
- CALIFORNIA EXPLORER SAR
- SONOMA COUNTY SAR
After several week had gone by, a local land owner located
the subject on a piece of flat property approximately 0.9
miles from the IPP.
