Mock Search November 2002

Here is our SAR trailer set up at Jack London State Park. It is a 24 foot Wells Cargo shell converted to hold a communications office, operations and plans in a main room, and a cache of radios and maps.

This evening's mock search is for a 19 YO who conveniently got lost for this exercise. The subject tonight is the brother of Amy pictured above. Is she secretly hoping we won't find him?

"...did I forget anything? Let's see, vest, tracking stick, pack... pack?... uh oh.

Someone should tell Del his red gators clash with his orange jumpsuit & green sweatshirt. SAR personnel are rarely known for making a fashion statement.

When I move the mouse the little arrow moves on the screen :)

(this is the back of our fearless SAR leader's head -- Deputy Hurt).

"Where do I put the quarter in to make this juke box work?"
